Where's the other 97 Episodes???
The actual "Preview Edition" has one-hundred Episodes. Three of them are posted. The other 97 cannot be posted yet.
Why?
Because I only translated three so far! The rest I stole! Now, legally, it's just my personal research project. It's not stealing unless I sell (the stolen text part) to someone. But I made just enough copies for myself and everyone who wanted to be part of my research team. (About 20 people, so far. But I need lots more.)
And what are we researching?
The format. The feel of the text and the white space. The line breaks and "scene breaks". The italicized insertions that explain what went on between certain events (where the Letters tell things that Acts doesn't). Whether the footnotes add or detract. And whether my translating efforts paid off or not! But mainly, We're researching the overall effect. I want to find out which methods best help to hi-lite the people, places, times and events! We're trying to make the New Testament FEEL like a Story!
And now I have two favors to ask:
1) Please tell me whether my translations compare well. Would you trust this text, if it was your only Bible? Please test me on this, and let me know what you think.
2) If I do put out a 2nd Preview Edition this July, I'll need another Research team. Anyone interested should send me an e-mail. I'll make it first come, first served. All readers are welcome.
So that's it! Please feel free to leave a Comment. And thanks for reading!
